No — it counts the days between now and the target, so tomorrow is 1 day away.
What if the date has passed?
The count goes negative and the label switches to "days since".
Are public holidays excluded from working days?
No, only weekends; holidays vary by state.

Why do weeks not add up to the months?
Months have 28–31 days, so "3 months" is between 12 and 13 weeks.
